Caliper Painting Warranty

This warranty covers the caliper painting service provided by SpenceTIRE Inc. for a period of one season from the date of service completion.

Coverage:

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship related to the caliper painting process performed by SpenceTIRE Inc. It guarantees that the paint applied to the calipers will not peel, flake, or fade under normal use and weather conditions for one season.

Exclusions:

Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper installation of the calipers is not covered.
Normal wear and tear over time is not covered.
Damage caused by exposure to extreme environmental conditions, such as excessive heat, cold, or salt, is not covered.
Any alterations or modifications made to the painted calipers after the service is performed voids the warranty.

Claim Process:

To make a warranty claim, the customer must contact SpenceTIRE inc. within the warranty period and provide proof of purchase. SpenceTIRE inc. will assess the calipers to determine if the issue is covered under the warranty. If the issue is deemed to be covered, SpenceTIRE Inc. will repair or repaint the affected calipers at no additional cost to the customer.

Limitation of Liability:

The liability of SpenceTIRE Inc. under this warranty is limited to the repair or repaint of the affected calipers as described above. SpenceTIRE Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the painted calipers.

Maintenance Requirements:

To maintain warranty coverage, the customer must properly maintain and care for the painted calipers according to SpenceTIRE Inc. recommendations.

Wait for Proper Curing: Allow sufficient time for the caliper paint to cure fully before washing your car. We recommend 48 hours.
Avoid Power Washing and Harsh Chemicals: Refrain from using power washers or abrasive chemicals to clean the painted calipers, as they can damage the finish.
Proper Cleaning Technique: When cleaning, use a soft brush or cloth and mild soap and water to gently clean the painted calipers.
Mindful Driving: Be cautious when driving in areas with loose gravel, debris, or construction sites to minimize the risk of chipping or scratching the paint on the calipers.
Avoid Excessive Brake Usage: While some brake dust buildup is normal, excessive braking or aggressive driving can accelerate wear on the painted calipers. Drive responsibly to minimize wear and tear.
Protect from Road Salt: During winter months, regularly rinsing off salt deposits will help prevent tarnishing and corrosion, preserving the appearance of the painted calipers.
